So, back at home and just trying to get back inot the swing of things. I didn't think jet lag would bother me, but boy, am I whipped. I want to think I'm still pretty young, but flying from CA to the east coast really killed me. We slept in to 11 today which is hard to believe since I haven't done that since college. I feel like I could do it again tomorrow. Thankfully the kids went to bed earlier tonight.
The bad news from the trip is my daughter's favorite stuffed animal was lost. We have had that bear for 7 years and it's traveled all over the country with it. So somehow, we left it behind...somewhere. We've been calling the hotels we stayed in. But if you ask me, they could care less. I don't have much faith in a entry level hotel worker really taking the time to check the lost and found box for an old teddy bear. I try to have faith in my fellow man to do their job and to care about their fellow man...but I think the cleaning maid just tossed it. But I'm practicing the secret and thinking the last place I need to call tomorrow will say, YES! Thankfully my daughter has been pretty easy going about it. Of course we will have to see what happens if (shhushhh) God forbid it isn't found. It WILL be found. It WILL be found. It WILL be found.
